5.  Repeat this process by running the water/vinegar mixture through the coffee maker again. Let the mixture cool again for 10 to 15 minutes.

6.  Fill the coffee maker with plain water and run it through the coffee maker complete cycle. Let the water cool for another 10 minutes and repeat one more time with plain water.

7.  While the water is filtering through the coffee maker wash the coffee carafe and filter basket in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
